Instrument Hire

Terms & Conditions

Violin-

A hire fee of $220 is charged per term, and a refundable deposit of $150 is taken at the commencement of the hire. The deposit will be refunded when the instrument is returned in full working order.

Pre-instrumental Music-

A refundable deposit of $25 is taken at the commencement of the hire. The deposit will be refunded when the instrument is returned in full working order.

General-

The hiring student MUST be enrolled with Outback Octaves

The hirer will be responsible for any damage or loss incurred.

The instrument is only to be used by the student and teacher named on the hire agreement. Any repairs to the instrument MUST be arranged through Outback Octaves. The cost of repairs not classed under wear & tear will be paid by the hirer.

Wear & Tear:

• Strings aged 9 months +

• Bow hair aged 18 months +

• Minor surface scratches

The instrument must be returned within 14 days of cessation of lessons. Failure to return the instrument will result in the hirer being billed for replacement of the instrument.
